1. Who are we?

MulZap is an educational mobile app designed for children to learn their times tables in a fun way. It is published independently and can be reached at: contact@mulzap.app.

2. Data collected

MulZap is built on the principle of data minimization. Here is exactly what happens:

• No user account is required
• No personal data (name, surname, email, age) is collected
• No advertising identifier (IDFA / GAID) is used
• No tracking cookie is stored
• The child's progress is stored only on the local device
• No data is sent to third-party servers

3. Anonymous technical data

The distribution platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) may collect anonymous, aggregated crash data through their native tools (e.g., Apple crash reports, Android Vitals), with no link to the user's identity. This collection is governed by their own privacy policies, to which we have no direct access.

This data is used solely to fix possible bugs and improve the stability of the app.

4. Children, GDPR & COPPA

MulZap is specifically designed for children. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• No data relating to a minor is collected, stored, or transmitted
• No targeted advertising content is shown in the app
• No social network or external sharing feature is included
• The app requires no sensitive system permission (camera, microphone, location, etc.)

5. Donations and voluntary support

MulZap is entirely free. Behind a parental gate, the app offers a way to voluntarily support its development. This support is entirely optional and unlocks no content.

On Android, support takes the form of links to external donation services (such as Ko-fi or Liberapay), opened in the system browser. On iOS, it takes the form of an optional tip via in-app purchase, handled by Apple. In both cases, MulZap collects, processes, and stores no payment information. Third-party platforms have their own privacy policies, which apply as soon as you leave the app.

6. Third-party services

MulZap includes no third-party SDK for advertising, behavioral analytics, or social networking (no Firebase Analytics, Meta SDK, Google Ads, etc.).

If this policy changes following the integration of additional services, this page will be updated with reasonable prior notice.

7. Security

Since all progress data is stored locally on the user's device, the risk of leakage or unauthorized access is structurally limited. No network transmission contains personal data.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights over your personal data (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection). In the case of MulZap, since no personal data is collected, these rights are effectively satisfied with no action needed.
